Are you Pregnant Again By Chance?

Is It An Unplanned Pregnancy?

Pregnancy is the best emotion a woman goes through. But when you are unprepared, it might be a daunting experience when you find a pit at one side and fire on another. Don't know which way to go? Probably this lens will help you decide whether you want to keep this baby or not and how to prepare quickly and welcome the baby # 2.

Get Prepared Quick and Act Smart!

Tips for the Second Pregnancy
Getting pregnant isn't just about somehow surviving those critical 9 months, but about many more years to come. Preparing yourself mentally for the entire story all over again, plus the coming up of the new born, health alerts, the most decisive financial planning and your willingness to take a break from work and go on maternity leave, considering all the rewards and incentives and that long awaited promotion at stake.

Conception after you already have a young toddler at home might mean a lot of effort and hard work (that often goes vain when your first kid doesn't let you complete your chores on time). It means a lot of physical, emotional as well as mental stress when you have to take care of a baby around you and a baby in you!

Once you decide to keep the baby, you once and for all, discard all the unnecessary and evil around you. First things first- Conception means no active or passive smoking, no junk food, no alcohol, no high heal, but wait, when we are talking about second pregnancy, you must know all the basics by now.

Managing the Second (or third, or fourth) Pregnancy can be quite a Challenge!

Lets discuss what all you must know when you are pregnant again-

It's important that your first kid understands what you are going through. If you feel he is too young for it, you can arrange for an evening session/class for him that tire him out completely and makes the latter part of the day easier for you when he dozes off.

If you are working and you have some babysitting arrangement for your first kid, do not break or change the routine. Believe it or not, if you are habitual of spending your day away, you'll be really exhausted if you suddenly plan to stay at home and take care of the baby and the fetus.

Forget the first pregnancy catnaps! The most you can get now is- sleep when your child sleeps. Forget the time, forget the work, and just take a nap as and when you can.

Cook double and save time. Cook a lot of porridge, so that you and the kid can eat every couple hours. Also, it is important to eat healthy right now, so keep sprouts, salad and fruits handy.

Ignore the unfolded laundry, spilled crumbs and it's completely okay to discard the leftovers without brainstorming on how to methodically reuse every bit of food. Take it easy!

Introduce a baby doll to your first kid. Teach him to pretend-and-play; probably this will prepare him to accept the # 2.
