Being a mother of a super active kid,
parenting is something that comes almost naturally by now. At times, I feel
like a parenting guru who is called up at slightest of child care hitches that
often new parents come across, be it their first sneeze, or just another
development phase.
I am a working mother, but what makes me stand apart from the rest
of the working mothers is the fact that I work from home. Although, working
from home is only a boon as much as it is a bane, probably, my daughter, when
she grows older will be able to tell if my stay-at-home decision ever helped
her in any way!
Deep inside, I have a softer heart, even
though I do not sound so soft and cool, but that’s I guess the temperament
I need to adapt so that I can take out at least a couple of hours a day to
work.
Being a mother has been the most wonderful
thing that could ever happen to me. It is as good as being in love again. In fact,
being parents, we’ve been able to revive our relationship and we have seen
ourselves growing from friends to a couple, to spouse and now parents. The journey
so far has been a bed of roses, and I simply hope that everything remains as
fairy-talish and rose-tinted when our daughter- Myra grows up.
I gained my moral values and ethics as I walked
ahead in life. My father never told me how to live; he simply lived his life,
and let me watch him do it. I wish I can ever be the inspiration for my kid in her
life. With all these thoughts and wishes in mind, I blog on lounge4moms to
share my views, thoughts and parenting experiences with all you lovely mothers
around.
