5 tbsp oil
1 cup sliced onion
2 cups diced tomatoes
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp garlic paste
5 tsp garam masala powder
2 bay leaves
4 whole red chilies
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chili powder
Salt to taste
Cook Kadhai Chicken in Easy Steps:
1. Heat oil in a kadhai.
2. Put in the bay leaves.
3. Add onions and sauté till they turn light golden brown.
4. Add ginger-garlic paste to it.
5. Cook for about 2 minutes on low flame.
6. Add coriander and chili powder. Stir!
7. Add tomatoes and cook till the oil separates.
8. Add chicken pieces and salt. Mix well.
9. Put the lid on the kadhai and let the chicken cook for 10 minutes.
10. When the chicken turns tender, shift it to the serving bowl.
11. Sprinkle garam masala and coriander leaves.
12. Tastes best with Butter Naan or Lachha Parantha.
