Pancakes

easy pancake recipe

If its weekend, nothing makes it special the way pancakes do! If only you knew it’s nothing beyond the 3 easy steps to the heavenly pancakes-
1. Whip
2. Pour
3. Turn

Here’s a quick sure-shot recipe to ensure your pancakes soon become your Sunday morning hot-favorites!!

Ingredients
1 cup refined flour
1 large egg
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Assorted toppings such as honey, jams, preserves, sweetened whipped cream, chocolate syrup or nutella dip.

Put all the ingredients into a blender and whip.
Heat a smooth griddle or pan on the stove.
Brush the pan with oil.
Reduce the flame. Pour half a cup of batter on the pan. Cover it with a lid that allows rising space. Although covering isn’t an essential step, however, I personally recommend doing so as the pancakes turn out softer as covering helps in retaining the moisture.
When the pancake starts to bubble and develops holes on the top side, flip it to cook the other side too.  Cooking the other side won’t take more than a minute.

Serve with an assorted topping of your choice.
